Susan Gransby obtained her BA degree from UBC and her Honours Diploma in printmaking from the Vancouver School of Art. She left a newspaper career to work full-time at the Malaspina Printmaker Society Studio in 1983 and now works out of her Burnaby studio. Susan’s etchings, linocuts, monotypes and mixed-media works on paper have been exhibited across Canada, Japan, Spain, Finland, Peru, and the United States. Her prints are in several Canadian public galleries and corporate collections. Susan has given a variety of workshops and exhibits regularly. Her work has been described as “a refreshingly uncomplicated vision with a relaxed and easy intimacy”.
