Painter and printmaker Marjorie Turnbull lives in Coquitlam, a suburb of Vancouver, BC. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta and received her early training at the Banff School of Fine Arts, earning the Brewster Award. She later worked on a Fine Arts degree at the Universities of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Her interest in printmaking became more sharply focussed when she enrolled in the Emily Carr School of Art and Design, Vancouver, graduating with Honours in Printmaking, followed by a year of post graduate work.

Marjorie is a member of the Malaspina Printmakers Society, an AFCA in the Federation of Canadian Artists and a member of the Federation Board. She is a painting and printmaking instructor and is available for workshops and demos. Her work is found in private and corporate collections in Canada, the USA, France, Australia, England, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany.
