A contemporary Canadian artist born in Vancouver, BC, Anna Wong graduated from the Vancouver School of Art, BC, with a degree in creative printmaking. She also studied Chinese brush painting in Hong Kong.

In the 1960s her original prints received several international prizes and in 1969, she was awarded a Canada Council grant. Other awards include the Emily Carr Award, the Leon and Thea Koerner Foundation Grant, and the Charles Scott Award. She has also represented Canada in a number of print biennials, including that of Ljubljana, Yugoslavia.

Around 1970 Anna Wong moved to New York to work and study at the Pratt Graphics Center, teaching lithography and screen printing. During this time her graphic art was also illustrated in Artist's Proof: The Annual of Prints and Printmaking.

Her works are widely dispersed among private and public collections throughout Canada and other countries.
